Also, Adam did a twiiter party last night, and there may have been a lot of "kris" mentions in those tweets.

ha, that`s funny. I`m kinda glad that Adam got Kris questions since Kris gets a ton of Adam questions.

and seriously the sound on this non-cellcast is amazing. Megan sounds great in the group number - You`lll enjoy this concert Ross, no worries.

Bah, I wish I could go to the concert. The timing just didn`t work out right for me sadly.

I wish I knew how to record this. Can I just stick a disc in the laptop? I don't know how to do it.
Ahem, I might be doing that right now.. lol. I can hook you up.

Audacity is a great little program. Just sayin`

Put your hands, up, put your hands up...

Was Rickey serious thinking this was Honolulu?

What's Audacity? And I'm not talking about Adam's act.

LOL - Ross. Think Long Island of Honalulu.

Audacity is a program that records streaming audio from your desktop. Really simple to use.. as evidenced by the fact that it works for me.

Yeah, she really does. Allison is a STAR! Everyone is so focused on Adam and Kris.. Allison is crazy talented (and only 17!!) insane.

I like Danny too. :) I probably wouldn`t buy his album unless he surprises me with his musical direction but he was the first person I liked on the show this year.

Lol. Honolulu is a city! But there's the Big Island of Hawaii. I don't know if it's long, also (it can't be any longer than this set of Gokey's. That NYTimes reviewer, what's his name, a Bitterbert if ever I saw one! -- said when he was live-blogging the finale that Danny Gokey would have trounced Kris if they had been the final 2. I had to larf. If DG couldn't get into the finale at all, how could you suppose that if he got there somehow -- bribery? Sex with Paula? -- he would then beat the guy who he couldn't beat on Top 3 night?)

But I digress.

But better yet it`s not Long Island. lol.

I don`t think Danny could have won Idol despite Paula`s support, he just didn`t have (and actually still really doesn`t) have a musical direction - when Adam and Kris are both really clear about what they want to do. I think he needs to figure that aspect out then he will be just fine. He does have a great voice. Maybe another year that would have been enough - not this year though.

I don`t even mind the speech now that I can understand what he said.

and the crowd goes bananas.

Ooh, live-blog! Lol. I just arrived in the middle of something. That can be awkward.

Anyway, you two might be tired of all my Cook-related things, but I wanted to post this: MAN ON A MISSION: David Cook finds his place in the world beyond 'Idol's' borders

I guess you could also call it "Lessons of an Idol". He's learned a lot in the last year and his perspective is really interesting. I hope he shared a bit of his new-found wisdom with Kris. It's a good read (and not too long!).

Have you ever noticed how much Adam sings like Kalan Porter? I always notice this on Starlight. I mean, Kalan is a baritone and Adam's a tenor, but it's almost the same singing style. Maybe that's what "trained voices" tend to sound like?

(I like Kalan better than Adam, I think he puts more into the lyrics/emotional connection thing. I'm just talking more about the basic singing style.)

ETA: Thanks, missaddicted. I'll dive into that as soon as the concert is over. The sound is amazing. This is actually really making me look forward to this concert now.

Btw, The audience sounds like it's about 90% female. On the Long Island of Honolulu, I mean.

LOL. Just joined you two at Rickey's. Wow, never done that before! But since you said the sound was good, I decided to take a listen, especially since it's Kris' turn soon!

But, seriously, Rickey creeps me out. I can't watch him. And what the hell is with Honolulu? Lond Island of Honolulu? Whatever.

Why is he filming himself??? Argh! It's like I can't watch but I'm still curious to watch at the same time. That's disturbing!

I always like you distracting us with David Missaddicted - that was a good read. David does seem like he`s learned a lot this year. So much happened to him - from trying out for Idol to the death of his brother to a new music career. It`s amazing to think about sometimes.

I so like Ricky - he amuses me. He`s just having fun really. -- But, no doubt - It is an odd thing to watch - can`t deny it. I just click to another tab, and off I go.

and Long Island. Think Long Island. lol

Yay!!

Rickey creeps me out, too. I just minimize Rickey, and keep the sound on.
I especially can't deal with how he can't leave his hair alone.

I don't get the Honolulu thing, either, but just fix yourself a mai-tai, put on your cruise wear, and enjoy.

Adam sounds very Broadway to me. On the Bowie medley. But Adam is also about visuals. I haven't been super-impressed with him on the audio-casts, but he does put on a show. So Adam has said the Bowie medley is closest to the music he's going to be doing post-show. Any opinions about that? Because this is the weakest thing in his set, imho.

Kris! Eeeeeeee!

(That was my fangirl squee if it wasn't clear.)

It's cool to hear the introduction and the audience screaming.
