Thanks for that link, missaddicted. And thanks for the cellcast info -- and also the twitter info, SleepinIn. It worked when I tried it (twitter). Hey, have you noticed that the past couple of days Kris's followers have been multiplying like rabbits?

It's the power of Kris. He starts slow.. then you can't help but love the guy.

True, true. It's amazing, if you go to his page and leave it on a couple of minutes, then refresh it, there are more followers. In the past hour alone I think he's gotten about 200 more.

Slezak always has good things to say, and he finds a constructive way to say the things he doesn't like. That's all you can ask for.

I like Bright Lights - but I'm actually surprised so many people hate it - not even Kris's version just the song in general. I was also surprised by the number of people following the tour that had never heard the Killer's All These Things I've Done.

The sound on this video compares with the underwater cellcasts but it's interesting nonetheless. Check out the screaming when Kris comes on stage (loud - why yes it is) - then check out how the screaming almost completely stops when he sings. Kris makes you want to listen to the music.

Okay, this is seriously funny. Rochester paper touches a nerve out there in Idol land. I might just love reading these reviews just for the comments. Reviewer.. sane and rational ...fans clearly not. (there were no Adam disses - but holy cow defensiveness reigns. If there is any worry I have for Adam's career (and I don't have any others - the guy is gonna be okay people) it's clearly about the fans reactions to any imagined slight to Adam. Or them perhaps pulling him apart for parts.

AI tour is making money - funny how everyone disses Taylor Hicks and his tour made the most money. Very interesting. Still Number 4 tour this summer.. not bad at all.

Wow, that reception for Kris was huge! Thanks for sharing that, SleepinIn. You find the best stuff. And you're right, I think. They do quiet down to listen.

Oh, boy, those comments under that review! And in response to such a short, harmless write-up, too. I guess we'll never hear the end of that Arkansas stuff. So far I haven't heard any claims that Kris's Arkansas homies manipulated the vote every single week leading up to the finale, yet somehow he managed to advance evey week and not be voted off, or be in the bottom three except one time. People are so silly, aren't they?

Taylor Hicks. You probably remember this news from a few months back. It's funny what people call failure. Imagine what he'd be making if he hadn't won AI. I'd say he's very successful. He's not a "superstar," maybe not even a star, but maybe he doesn't even care about that. He's making big money compared to most people, he's a working singer, he's put out another CD, and maybe he loves what he does.

I know it's crazy, eh? Lots of working musicians would kill to do so well. It's a funny ole world.

As for Kris, I just hope he's successful in the usual ways but also in terms of being an artist. I really hope he can make good music, and be someone who's respected. The money will come if he does good work.

ETA: Couldn't find a cellcast tonight, was there one anywhere? ross is gettin' frustrated.

I think this happened to me once before, maybe, but anyway I'm starting to find the Adam drama tedious. There's always one controversy or another. Now he's under doctor's orders not to go to the meet and greet sessions tonight. Whatever.

The tube socks thrown onstage during Gokey's set. (Tube socks? Is this supposed to mean he's not sexy? As in: Adam gets bras, Danny gets tube socks?) This shizzle is getting out of hand. I wonder how old a lot of those chicks are, anyway? On idf and ontd. The girls who apparently pre-plan all these monoevers. I think a lot of them lack any respect. And what's with their obsession with making all male friendships into fantasy gay relationships, anyhow? wtf is that about?

Was that last night? That's kind of awful. Danny has a lot of fans, I don't know why the internet peeps have such a problem with him. Danny's music choices knocked him out of contention for me - but that doesn't mean I think he doesn't have talent.

I don't even know what's up with the bras. I wonder - Did they do this other years? Or is this a new thing? I am so new to the madness of the idol tour.

Dude, I have no idea. It's so nuts. Sometimes amusing, but still nuts.

Adam does have a flair for drama, but it's probably a lot of things keeping him from the meet and greets.. (see: above) that stuff would get old real fast.

Yeah, I know. But come on, what did he expect? You send out certain messages, you get certain responses. It's kind of like a girl who acts easy and then is upset when the guys all chase her. I mean, he's not just singing, out there.

Anyhow, this is the 'official' meet and greet that he's now skipping, I think. That's a new one. He always went to those.

I was reading about it in the comments on mj's blog, about tonight's show. People tweet during the show, and people post the tweets in the comments section. If you look for tonight's show you can read all about it. Apparently it was well-planned, just like the boxers for Kris -- people were anticipating their being thrown. This Gokey thing was called something like "Operation Tube Socks" -- actually I forget what it was called.

I think the bras have been planned, too -- and the other paraphenalia. What I mean is, it's not being done by a random individual or two at each show, in an unrelated way. It seems like it's mostly organized by the girls on these sites.

I don't know why the online folk have such issues with Danny. I think mainly he committed the crime of being un-sexy.

ETA: Update from mj's:

3rd Update: Some bright person threw a dildo on stage while Adam was performing. It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.
2nd Update: @adamlambert is supposed to have a twitter party tonight, but he’s got about 2000 messages waiting for him. I think we’re going to have twitter overload.
Update: Adam tweeted: “Looking forward to tonight’s show! Unfortunately, due to doctors orders I need to rest my voice AFTER the performances…So I may not be attending after show meet and greet or autograph sessions. Thank you all for understanding that I need to look after myself!

I guess what was thrown was some kind of stuffed toy after all. I think this concert is becoming something I'm not that eager to go to.

I think to a certain extent he didn't quite get the Idol tour. He's probably been even more racy in the stage show that he did, but the nature of the Idol thing is that everything gets magnified out of hand by about 1000%. I do think he should have shut the throwing things down right away, someone actually could get hurt with the things they are throwing now. It's craziness.

It's beyond time to stop it. IMHO. Especially when they are taking it to a mean place in regards to the other Idols. That's just plain wrong.

You might feel different when you are there and don't have to read the twitter madness - Are you on the floor?

I agree, I don't think Adam did get it. I think he was always a fringe performer before. I doubt he thought it would be so mainstream-popular for him to do a lot of stuff that nobody was going crazy about before.

Yeah, I have floor seats. And you're right, I think I'm reading too much online. I'm tired of reading anti-Kris stuff, at this point, too. I had no idea things would be so competitive. Lets hope its just some online nuts, and that's it.

YOU GUYS take a look at who's trending on twitter, under "trending topics."

What happened?

Reviews -- so subjective. It's kinda funny how two people watch the same show and come away with completely different opinions. Ah, well it's healthy. Right? I do like it better when they like Kris though.. not gonna lie. :) I wonder how the concert will go tomorrow? It makes me nervous and I wish I was going :(

you might want to stop by Ricky`s - he`s broadcasting from the Long Island of Honalulu. Really, really good sound (taped from last night).

Now that Anoop is above water.. he sounds really, really good.
Matt also sounding good.

What happened?

I glanced at Trending Topics last night on twitter, and saw that one of them was "kris".

I tried to find some info on that, on mj's blog. Of course some people said that it couldn't be Kris Allen (just their mind set). But a guy posted that he did a twitter search of "kris", and, for six or seven pages, the only kris that came up was Kris Allen. Also, Adam did a twiiter party last night, and there may have been a lot of "kris" mentions in those tweets.

I do like it better when they like Kris though.. not gonna lie. I wonder how the concert will go tomorrow? It makes me nervous and I wish I was going.

Supposedly MSNBC also gave him a good review. I'll have to find it.

I wish you were going to the concert, also. I don't know how far you live from...where is the concert, anyway? I forgot. Burlington? No. Hamilton. Right? (We have towns with the same names in Massachusetts.) But you can probably get good seats. Supposedly people who wait until the "day of" can get some amazing seats.

Wow, the sound is pretty awesome. Must be that Hawaiian climate. (What's with all the Honalulu/Hawaii stuff? :))

Matt is singing. He knows how to work the crowd with some banter. His singing isn't all that great, I never thought it was, but he does put a lot of energy into it. Wow, just like on the show, he tries for notes he should avoid.

Ow -- Megan. Hurting my ears a bit.

If you want, let's "live blog" a bit.

I wish I knew how to record this. Can I just stick a disc in the laptop? I don't know how to do it.
