Oh, that's Aranda that he mentionned. I couldn't make out what the name of the band was. I don't know them. I just checked their CD on iTunes and the only thing that really intrigued me is that they gave two of their songs to Kelly Clarkson? Her versions sound really familiar to theirs too. That's somewhat peculiar.

Now, that would be funny. Maybe he was happy you came back. And they sat for ADAM!! That's scandalous.

I know. How dare they sit in His presence? lol I guess they didn't get the memo.

I bet he was happy to see a guy in the audience.

This is something Boston was different about. Compared to what people say about other cities. It was not a female audience at all, it was definitely mixed about 50-50, as far as I could tell. All around me were couples and families, mixed groups, etc. A lot of guys of all ages. I met mostly women and girls, but that's just how it worked out. It was kind of cool, though, that so many guys went.

Thanks for that article. I'm not sure if it was all there or if I read it all. I think so.
I think I'll pass on the chicken spaghetti and the dump cake. That's just about the kind of spaghetti I'd expect them to make in Arkansas. Hmm: "One 10 ounce can of diced Rotel." It says here. What the eff is that??

Okay, I Googled it: Rotel Main Page

Hey, I wish a national magazine would give him a cover story. But he's had articles and pics in People and some other biggies so I shouldn't complain. But I'm complaining, anyhow. Ya hear me, world??

That video of Kris: I have the same white chucks. Also really dirty. I'm wearing them now. I'm about to take them off and go to bed. G'night.

Aw, I love Ralph Macchio. I saw an interview with him and his family not to long ago and they just seem really down to earth. He just looks the same too. lol. Cried a lot watching the Outsiders, and waxed on, and waxed offed with Mr. Miyagi.

Stay gold, Ralph.

Have you seen the more recent edit of The Outsiders? It's most of the deleted scenes, basically the parts of the book that didn't make it into the movie. It's great. Only thing that I don't like about the new version is how they changed the music. Coppola threw out most of the original score (by his father) and replaced it with stuff like Elvis songs. It doesn't work! There's a lot of cool bonus material, though, like most of the cast reuniting with Coppola at his vineyard in the Napa Valley.

Speaking of that, I wonder if anyone will record or film the concert Kris is going to be doing (with Daughtry and I guess other people) in Napa this fall? That would be awesome.

I was always looking for glimpses of Rob Lowe when I watched the Outsiders (especially the beginning) .. but Johnny and Dally.. *sigh* broke my little pre-teen heart.

Kris is underwater.. yay! Crowd sounds good, in an underwater kind of way.

By name, I didn't even know who that was. I've seen The Outsiders though...

He played Johnny, the one who dies after getting burned in the fire (now I'm getting all upset...)

Like this?

Rob was my favorite. I tried to copy him back in the day. He was a role model of laid-back smoothness. Plus, a really natural actor. Now he's totally different, he's kind of a stiff actor. What happened? Maybe that weird scandal he was involved in changed the guy somehow. Maybe just age.

By the way, it's his part that was cut the most in the original Outsiders, and gets restored in the new cut.

Damn. Missed the cellcast again.

Do you think someone will #signmattgiraud?

I'm really lame. I've read the book and saw the movie, but I barely remember any of it. It was in an English class in high school ten years ago though, so maybe I just put all of it in the corner of the brain reserved for useless stuff we learn in school that we tend to forget after the exam is over. I should probably see it again...

The Outsiders was sort of porn for pre-teen girls, if you think about it.

Hmm...should I go back on-topic? Sort of? Okay, I don't like Hedley's Cha Ching.

I know I've said it before, but I really must stop going to mj's blog. Stuff there gets to me. Do you think the following person who went to the concert is one of those Adam fans who's trying to subtly diss Kris by never mentioning him (and even praising Sarver)? Or what?

I was there… man what a great show, we had floor seats.. like in the middle, but other two daughters wanted to go so I got two more seats on the way in to the show that were RIGHT next to the stage on the side, 1st level, and a seat was open and we ALL sat there, and man Adam’s amazing, my wife whom barely speak English (Spanish) teared up and was just blown away by Adam.. my Son and Two daughters the same.
They were all really good, I really enjoy Danny, too.
1) Adam
.
.
.
.
.
.
2) Danny, Matt, Anoop…etc
I was suprised w/ Michael, he’s did a really great job of kicking the show off, which really moves QUICK!
Adam’s UNNNNREAL.

The crowd went Ape**** for Adam, like she said the lights went out and Danny’s just getting off the stage and BAM! they went nuts…
For a Tuesday night I thought they did great… we drove down..or up…er…over from Indiana and I thought Columbus was great… it looked full, I didn’t see any empty seats… once Adam came on… even the Ushers stopped and did NOT take their eyes off Adam or Danny… two female ushers did not move an inch.. and an older really nice gentleman who noticed that we were scrunched in to the seats… was watching.. he did move a little.. he said ya’ll have more butts than seats” and I said yep.. but look what I paid for that! and showed him all my floor and other seat prices and he said “have a great time, and we were fine”
All the kids got Adam shirts..
I wasn’t going to wait for them to get “autographs” but I did buy my oldest daughter the Adam auto card from upper deck? a while back.. that was a couple hundred.. that’s enough.

First of all, I can be as enthused as the next one, but the show was not that awesome. Even for me, a huge fan of the past season. It really was not. It was very good, and a lot of fun to see the kids in person. But I've been to better concerts. I went mainly for Kris and he was awesome. It was worth it. I swear to you guys, Danny was not so compelling that ushers stop dead in their tracks when he performs. Even Adam. (Apparently, they don't like Kris. Ushers are now being brought into it.) Of course, I wasn't in Columbus. But I know even in Columbus, Kris must have gotten the huge crowd response he gets everywhere else, and you can't just ignore that, or him, when you write about the concert.

Sorry. ross is having a moment.

missaddicted I'm shocked you don't like Cha Ching.

Thanks for updating your previous post, ross, now my post that follows doesn't make any sense, LOL.

Stop reading the comments at MJ's! It's an order! (Said with a menacing finger, but with a smile).

I seriously can't wait until the tour is over. At least, it will bring us closer to the release of Kris' single!

Sorry! I think it still makes sense, though.

Okay. Ha. I don't always read the comments. And there are always the positive Kris comments I enjoy. But I'll cut down.

I still can't believe the attitude, in a lot of the comments, by Adam's fans, not just on mj's but around the internet. Maybe it's like the Claytards--I wasn't around for that, back then. Way too presumptuous, too confident of their own rightness.

Wax on...wax off...wax on...wax off...

Yeah, but what can you do? I do find their attitude annoying sometimes, so I just try to stay far far away from them. Which totally helps to decrease the angst. Again, who knows what will happen? We don't and they don't, even if they pretend that they do and that Adam will be the next Elvis.

The thing is, the attitude of some of the fans, I can somewhat understand, even if I dislike it. I mainly have a problem with some of the media. I'm sure we've talked about it before. You'd think the media would have a more objective approach to things, but they mostly don't. And they like to stir controversy. And they're prone to hyperbole sometimes even more than fans, which is so ridiculous sometimes. This is what bugs me the most.

Wow, Kris has to do energy drinks to get through the show? (Was that in NYC?)That bugs me. Poor guy. He's exhausted. Wonder why they can't schedule a few days off in the middle of the tour, just for r & r.

Yeah, I have the biggest problem with the media, too. They do like to stir controversy. Not sure what exactly you're referring to, though, care to elaborate?

One thing that bugged me was the Boston Herald, before the show hit town, said "by all reports, Adam Lambert steals the show from Kris Allen." Then the reviewer who wrote that went to the show, and wrote: "Adam Lambert steals the show from Kris Allen." Think much?

By the way, I hate it in the video above when the girl says something like, of course, we're Christians, too, so it's okay. Like...huh?

I wasn't referring to something in particular. More my general impression. Several little things added up together. The report you posted is a good example.

I'm going to bed. Good night!
