Don't worry ross, I didn't became a Tim fan, but I honestly thought his performance was good tonight. I enjoyed it.

I really liked Lee. I thought his vocals were great (especially considering he was awfully off-pitch last week). And I'm still laughing over his thumbs up and his silly smile at the end when he said he was happy, LOL. I give you the thumbs up Lee!

I thought Aaron was so much better than usual. But I guess since they can't get rid of Tim, they're now trying to get rid of Aaron.

I'm enjoying the show tonight so far.

Aaron.

I'm glad he picked a fast song for a change. I still think he has a very mediocre voice. I don't get his appeal, either. But I at least feel he has a commitment to music and being a good singer.

The odd thing about either Elvis week or Adam mentoring is that all these people have become more theatrical. That makes them more "entertaning for TV" (also, they're all getting more comfortable on camera), but ironically, it makes them even less like any current recording artists than they seemed to be before. And more like contestants on a cheesy TV show.

Now, I have to say this. The weird thing about Adam being on this show, for me, is that he seems less like a "supahstah" and more like one of the contestants. Strangely, Kris, and David Cook, and David Archuleta seemed more like they had moved on to become their own person(s), when they appeared this season. I didn't get the feeling of Idol cheese form them. But I do get that from Adam. It's more like he's still on the show.

Just my own observation.

I didn't like Aaron or Siobhan, although her performance picked up in the last half. I didn't think it was a song for her.

Has there been a Kris commercial tonight? Maybe RCA paid Ford not to show any tonight, huh?

I wasn't even watchiing Siobhan so I can't make any comment. When I watch the show this season I'm not always looking forward to the performances, and sometimes I forget to watch. I was out of the room, I saw the end.

I thought Siobhan sounded good, but I wasn't crazy about the performance. Also, I can't take her seriously on this show if she can't say who she is as an artist (of course, she's far from the only one in that situation this year), but the fact that she said it aloud was a turn-off for me.

Funny that Simon called her on the screeching when he never said anything when Adam was doing it even worse last year...

LOL. No I don't think so. I think we're seeing them less and less. There were barely any last week.

What you talked about before, missaddicted, re "moments"...this season. I think back to how a song by Kris, Allsion, Adam, even Danny or sometimes Matt seemed to be a progression, a tale, something memorable. After some of these performances, I'm just going, "That was it??"

That's how I felt about Lee, though he sang well and he had a good time. It wasn't a moment, it went nowhere, it said nothing. I know I'm being a hardass, but I'm just trying to be honest.

Adam's advice to everyone is the same. Be more theatrical, be bigger, "act it more", as he just said to Michael. Unfortunately, he can only tell people how he would do it, I think.

Wow, way to diss Brian Dunlkeman. Seacrest is a total douche.

I thought Mike sounded awesome! I don't really like his personality, but his song was beautiful tonight. He's the best when he's toned down like this.

Oh yeah, this season is desesperatly lacking in "moments" for sure. I'm still surprisingly enjoying the show tonight.

I don't really have an opinion on Adam's advice. He doesn't really have anything interesting to say, but I didn't necessarily expect that he would, so whatever.

Katie is still Smug Teen Witch and Pageant Princess both at the same time, but she sounded pretty good. So, go Katie? No, not really, but she wasn't awful.

Do you have a favorite(s) this year Risus? What about from the previous seasons, are you still a fan of some Idols?

Oh did you guys hear? Rickey Minor is supposedly leaving Idol after the season to be the new leader of Jay Leno's band on his talk show (I think it's Jay Leno...).
