My honest feeling about this (I continue to say it, and I told you so) Tim is the luckiest bastard on earth. I can always tell that type. He was about to be eliminated this week. Now, thanks to the Adam-mentor thing, he probably won't be!
Actually, I don't get, really, how voting for Tim gets back at Idol for having Adam as a mentor.
Did you guys know that on tour the idols are paid according to their ranking? Or so I've heard. Do people really want to take money and opportunities away from some worthier contestants in order to vote for Tim? I can't do that to the people who are more talented.

I literally can't watch this without thinking, "Oh, no, Adam is going to be the mentor next week." Do you have any idea of the pimpage? And I doubt I'll ever be able to read MJ's blog again. It will be like: "I feel Adam was a better mentor than Billy Joel/Elton John/Barbra Streisand/insert living legend here.

Lennon/McCartney. Seriously, if these Idols who are guitar driven folk if ever there was an Idol season that was full of guitar driven folk can't sing these songs well then I'm handing them all over to Adam with my blessing. He can sprinkle glitter on them and work some damn magic.

I like Andrew a lot. I can see a lot in him. I just wish he understood this show better, and how to showcase himself. He should have sung something like I Will, Julia, or Martha My Dear.
ETA: I liked how Katie sounded (I was listening from the kitchen). Like Simon, I thought it was a country-ish arrangement (I'm kind of shocked the others didn't hear that). I think her voice sounded better than usual (but I don't especially like that kind of singing). She wasn't as great as they said, though.
