That a cappela version of LLWD was awesome...and by the Ithaca College boys, too (I went to Cornell -- I.C. was our neighbor).

But why do they have to write, by Kris Allen/The Script? It's like saying Whataya Want From Me is by Adam Lambert/Pink. Actually it's by Pink/Max Martin. But nobody's saying that.

I got to :52 on the Mark day video

It's funny. LOL But he is irritating on twitter - not gonna lie. And hanging on by a thread to be one of my 800 (a worthy aspiration if ever there was one).

But why do they have to write, by Kris Allen/The Script?

I know right? grr.

Oh, who knows? Maybe the sheet music credits The Script.

I just tweeted that version to mah followahs.

You follow Mark Day on twitter? Brave soul. On CI, when they said he was funny, I thought they were just trying to be nice, or maybe trying to please Newfoundland. I think he's unfunny.

I retweeted you :)

I think he's unfunny.

You don't think the Bare Naked Ladies are funny either. ;) He amused me on Idol, the singing wasn't great. I did think he could host something or do something comedy related.

Ryan Seacrest Productions asked them to send in videos, I wonder for what use.

They have a twitter and were just in LA. Don't know if those two points are at all connected. And I agree they're really good.

Speaking of twitter I just read a tweet from Brian Melo (!) He's working on an album. (He's also possibly the most boring twitterer ever)

I still don't know how you manage your twitter, SleepinIn! I only follow 76 people and I'm overwhelmed most of the time! Do you use TweetDeck or something like that?

Well, I tried to like them, but...they weren't funny to me. It's just like how we like Jacob and missadicted doesn't. It's funny how people's senses of humor differ on some things and not on others.

I did think he could host something or do something comedy related.

He could, but I wouldn't watch it.

Oh, but it's not Jacob's sense of humor that I don't like! I actually don't really know what his humor is like. I didn't like him on CI because of his voice! And their music doesn't grab me. I don't know enough about Jacob to say if I would like him or not, I'm purely judging his voice and music.

Okay, I guess it was a bad example. How do you feel about Bare Naked Ladies? lol

I think you get my point, though, that not everybody has the same sense of humor. That's all I was saying.

I've been trying to look over that monday morning media database thread you mentioned, SleepinIn. It's pretty painful.

The monday morning thread has had some good news about Kris every week, lately .

I'm getting really turned off by all the stuff over there. To me all the forum/blog stuff (present company excluded) is getting as tiresome as listening to a lot of old farts and biddies gossiping over the back fence. Also, it seems to be nothing but arguing.

The facts speak for themselves. Like, all the crap I read about LLWD for months. It doesn't matter. All that matters is what happens. I like what's happening with Kris, and I have faith in Kris, and that's all I care about at this point.

Yes, I got what you were saying. I just didn't want you to think that I dislike Jacob because of who he is. I know he's pretty wacky, but that's pretty much it. I'm simply not a fan of Hedley's music, it has nothing to do with Jacob himself.

ETA: A few seconds after I post, Never Too Late starts to play on the radio, lol.

Nope, I ignore a lot of it to be truthful. :p And skim for parts.

And speaking of sense of humours differing.. lol (kidding, kidding, I still think it's funny)

Did you guys see what Brett Favre did?

That was HILARIOUS!!

Bah! There will never be an end to the pants being on the ground, I am ready to reign it in a bit though.

I have no problem with anyone not liking what I like - humour-wise or otherwise. That's what makes the world go round. So Hedley or BNL, or Mark Day.. no one has to like them. LOL Yeah, yeah, yeah..yeah.. it's alright with me, alright with me....

From Roswell's Heart PSA :) Nice of them all to do this for the local Cancer hospital in Buffalo, and since it's pretty close to me.. I really am touched.

@Ithacappella I like that our 'live like we're dying' video is the one getting attention! (http://bit.ly/6ijlbp) and the @krisallen's attached!

Did you watch Adam on Oprah, SleepinIn? I only watched the WWFM video. It was actually pretty good, his mom was looking all proud. I can't say I want to see Oprah drooling over him, so I didn't watch the rest.

Ah, Ithacappella, if we hadn't lost our internet connection today at the office, I would have listened to it on a loop I think!

Jim tweeted that he interviewed Randy today and Randy said this "There've been great boys but the boys haven't made great records." STFU, Randy. I hope Jim defended Kris at least.

I did. And yes the drooling annoyed me. lol But actually Adam did not. I like the guy, and despite the media drooling all over him. He is talented so he kinda deserves it too. I want Kris to get some credit for being awesome but Adam can be awesome too. :) Oprah was fangirly over him - she watched for sure. Susan was a bit charming if looking a wee bit terrified.

I liked that Adam said that Simon's opinion mattered but that he has preferences in musical styles and his opinion is always swayed by that.

Lyndsey interviewed Kara and they talked No Boundaries. Very interesting. I don't agree that the demo was better. It wasn't. But she does own up to being distracted by whatsername.
REALITY ROCKS: Now, you co-wrote Kris Allen's coronation song "No Boundaries" last year, and it got a lot of criticism. Was that hard for you?

KARA: You know, that song got so much flak. I know it did not come off well. I'm not going to lie here. The thing is, if you'd heard the demo, you wouldn't even recognize the song. The problem is when you write those songs, you're writing them in a vacuum. You don't know who's going to win. The song was better for a female voice. It was not written for a male voice. It just wasn't. And when it went to be translated, it was a disaster. And those guys [Kris Allen and Adam Lambert], as great as they are, it was the wrong song--like a complaint we make every week when we talk about song selection. Just the wrong song. It should have never have been what they sang, and unfortunately, looking back, part of it too was I so in the middle of that Bikini Girl stuff. I wish I had maybe gone and said, "Wait, let's try to switch this." And you know, I wasn't the only writer, but everyone wants to come down on me. People have been SUPER-critical. And I understand. Look, it wasn't a good moment. Believe me, I wasn't like, "Woo hoo! How great!" It was a moment in my career that I've never had. I've never been so confused and so like, "Whoa, what just happened?" I want people to know that I've also written some really good songs. Not every day does that bus come by, and I had a bad day that time.

STFU, Randy

WORD!!! Seriously?!? The boys haven't made good records??? WTF?

So I missed the beginning. I forgot the show was on. I missed the first half hour. Did I miss anything? Were there any reminders of Kris tonight? It looks like it was a David Cook-on-the-wall night.

WORD!!! Seriously?!? The boys haven't made good records??? WTF?

This is what I was talking about the other day. The judges suck. These are the people who are going to be judging your favorites. Be prepared to say "WTF?" a lot more.

It was a David Cook night.. :) and really only David and Shania were at all interesting since they don't seem to want to play the good auditions. You'd think they'd learn.

Andrew Cook is awesome.

RT @hotwheels1975 @ACookOfficial A favorite band you are listening to nowadays? KRIS ALLEN, JOHN MAYER, AMOS LEE, STEEL PANTHER
