I found his answer to this question very interesting:

Switching gears just a little bit – talking about the second album! I follow you on twitter, see all the updates about writing, things like that. We’ve heard before that you kind of take a theme, and start writing off of that. Do you have a theme for this album?
It’s forever changing. I tried to go into this record without any preconceived ideas. Because I really do feel like this is my first record, which is strange. I think with everything happening so fast last time, I was on the IDOL tour, working on the record, and all of that, so I tried to focus on the end result, as opposed to the process. This time, I’m really trying to focus on the process, which is really a bit unnerving. And so, it’s really getting into it, I’m trying to keep my options open. Right now, I’m just writing. I’m not trying to write a single, I’m not really trying to write anything, I’m just writing. I’m really excited to see what’s come out.

So, yeah, he pretty much confirms that the process of recording the first post-Idol really sucks.

I agree SleepinIn. Bring It Back is still one of my absolute favorites and I can't wait to hear it live!

I'll bet it was good in person, but that video doesn't really do him justice. I liked it. But I'm a little tired of the bad sound on YouTube videos so I didn't even listen to the whole thing. (At first. I actually did go back and listen to all of it later, come to think of it.) I just am tired of hearing his voice so distorted. Maybe a better video will surface.

Did you guys see Kris is going to sing the national anthem again (see what I posted, above)?

Kris live!!! This is cool! THANKS! LLWD. (They need to fix the sound mix though. Or maybe it's just my laptop. Vocal isn't loud enough.)

So were these the only songs he did? (BWCU, LLWD?)

I notice LLWD is the #4 most requested song on that station.

I heard LLWD on Seacrest again today at lunchtime.

Missed BWCU!!! Just caught the end of of LLWD! Katy Perry now, no thanks!

You didn't sound ungrateful ross! I just took the video on MJ's anyway. It's funny how our perceptions are different sometimes. I just thought that the sound quality was so good on that video. Well, better than usual for a youtube video! And of course, it helped that there weren't any drums or bass.

Lost my post! Grrr.

I'll give the song another try tomorrow. Isn't that an Adelle song? I just listened to part of it again, and you're right, the sound is good. When I first listened all I could hear was the crowd -- plus there was noise here, as well. But mainly I'm just tired. :)

I really liked it too. And as much as I loved Chasing Pavements (and any other cover Kris wants to throw our way) I liked that he sang one of the single contenders on the radio.

I'm just looking at it as -- it's not LLWD so it's a contender for single #2. ;)

No inside info here. lol
