ross did you see that Worchester added Heartless this week? Station Playlist Pretty sure it's old version Heartless - but interesting.. guess they are gearing up for the concert - they played it 13 times last week.

So are you guys still here? Sort of anticlimactic, Kris's album finally here and we're hardly talking about it.

So it looks like Heartless was auto-added on that station (??) Um...why? (11/9/09.) And it's been played 13 times? I wonder what that's about?

You know, I feel the new Heartless was probably that version he did while on tour, right? And maybe they were thinking of releasing it, at that time (more likely that was just a rumor when people found out he was doing a new version). But now I wonder if it isn't there in order for them to have a song that can be a "dance" type single -- because it could easily have a club remix done to it.

I'm still here! You left me alone! LOL. I was going to go do something else, but I was still listening to the album, dancing around to Alright With Me and Heartless! And chillin' to I Need to Know and Bring It Back!

Popping back in quickly! Alright By Me is Awesome. Kinda here. (talking to you)

I agree Heartless was done to possibly release it during the summer. And yeah maybe as a dance/club thing. I actually really like it a lot. It's new.. it's shiny, I like it.

Well, something happened to the chat function or something...I was there the whole time, but I wasn't seeing the responses. Then I refreshed, and got 15 responses! But by then, nobody was there. Sort of a comedy of errors.

I'm having a weird reaction to Kris's album. First, I can hardly wrap my head around the fact that here's this guy who we happened to like, who we really never thought had a shot but hoped had one, who we watched rise and rise every week and go all the way and win, who we watched on tour. And followed daily and nightly, literally. And all the time since May, when he won, almost all that time, anyway -- he has been working on this album. I mean, think about it -- the whole time we were watching those tour videos he was thinking about and worrying about this album, as well -- flying all over the country to collaborate with people, etc. -- and getting the flu, to boot. And then as soon as the tour was over he continued to work on this thing, flew to England, even.

So anyway, here's this kid who sang Man In The Mirror, and now he has put out an album that will be heard by people around the world. How did this happen? lol

Hey, did you guys notice the song snippets did NOT have little disclaimers every half minute or so? I wonder why? Doesn't this make them easy to illegally...well, whatever it is that people illegally do, with songs?

SleepinIn, I see from the map that two more Ontario stations are playing LLWD.
Belleville and Peterborough. If you zoom in a little you can see the flags, and they stations are listed to the left. (Of course this doesn't say how much they've played the song. But they have played it.)

So, three in BC, three in Ontario, one in Quebec. Baby steps, right?

Yes, baby steps for sure. I keep requesting it on the Toronto Station. No luck yet, maybe I will concentrate on Belleville and Peterborough :)

That fan video is really cute. I love that song. Whatcha mean the middle goes weird? lol

It's People's choice Kris http://twitpic.com/p0bf9 http://twitpic.com/p0pysI don't know where they made People's Choice twitter stand, but the her pictures were awful, lmao. She seemed to behind a curtain or something.

Hmm, no idea. I actually love that song, so I wouldn't be that upset (the only reason I wouldn't release that one would be it's Script connection and only because bloggers/Dj's seemed to love to bring it up as a slam against Kris - I really don't know if that would have changed though, with another song. Dj's and bloggers will always find something to slam these 'kids' over)

I wouldn't want that for the next single. I think there are several stronger candidates on the album. Anyhow, I wonder where this person got the information. They sounded very certain.

I'd like Alright by Me, Bring it Back, or Let It Rain. (might actually kill for I Need to Know.. but.. not gonna happen me thinks)
(right now anyway... ) I actually love WAOMF but it's the live version that I really love, it's got a little more urgency, plus I've been listening to it non-stop since Miami.

What do you guys think? What would you vote into single 2.0?

Anyhow, I wonder where this person got the information. They sounded very certain.

People always sound certain on the internet though. It's one of the main problems with the internet. - lol

Someone reposted the Jay Leno interview on youtube again.. I loved this interview.

Well, the song I would most love to hear if I was listening to the radio is Alright With Me. I love it, I have a feeling I would be unlikely to get tired of it, and also, it's so different from the usual stuff on the radio. So it will stand out, and it will be unique. "One of a kind" songs that end up become hits really can make an artist. People sometimes think: pick a song that sounds like a lot of what you currently hear on the radio. But that's not a song that's going to stand out, much.

Yeah, I think Alright With Me would be my choice too. It's irresistible! Or Before We Come Undone, maybe, a lot of people seem to like it. I love Red Guitar and Bring It Back too, maybe Bring It Back could be a great single too.

My question is: would they really have already decided on a second single? LLWD is still going up the charts and before it starts going down, especially on HAC, it will be after the Holidays. The two songs that have been mentionned as possible singles, I don't want them either has singles. WAOMF is good, but there's that Script thing. The Truth is rather ordinary and I'm not sure it would really stand out on the radio.

After the Come Back to Me debacle with David Cook, though, I've learned not to expect anything from 19. Not that Come Back to Me sucks, but pretty much all the fans believe there would have been stronger songs that would have made better singles like Lie and Declaration (and more importantly songs that David had a hand in writing). CBTM has had a very good run on the radio, it's still playing after 7 months, but it hasn't driven the sales of the album.

ross, maybe I don't understand your problem with the chat completely, but when I seem to have problems with it, I just refresh the page. It happens often that I don't seem to get new posts, but when I refresh, all the posts are there. But, maybe your problem is more complex than that?
