Isn't the Canadian flag outdated now that we have Nunavut? I thought the two red bars simbolized the two original territories of NWT and Yukon. Maybe we could stick an extra bar qat the top to simbolize Nunavut. How 'bout that?

Sorry If I have offended anyone.
I for one am offended by your naivete, and seemingly willful ignorance... I think you should do more research, and less blathering...the truth is often not written in the history books, for if it was it would plainly state that the Vietnam war was entirely imperialistic and capitalistic...begun under false pretenses (Gulf of Tonkin) and with the intent of increasing the market share of a select few corporations (military industrial complex), and like the Korean war, was a move that would give them a stranglehold on valuable markets in South-East Asia, and in turn deny those markets to hostile nations (China, Russia, Japan)...the longer the war lasted, the more money was to be made...and a crap-load of money was made on that endeavour...that is why over 58,000 poor and middle class Americans were sent to their deaths...so the defense contractors could clean house, and the politicians could garner kick-backs (campaign contributions)...the US government used the cold war and the ever spreading fear of communism (McCarthyism) as a catalyst for propelling the nation into a war it didn't want to fight...
The Vietnam war was never about democracy any more that the Iraq war is...some people are so gullible...
In the words of Tim Curry: Communism is a red herring...
