A weeks-long strike that coincided with last year’s winter holiday shopping season cost both Canada Post and small businesses that use to rely on the national mail carrier hundreds of millions of dollars. We’ve all learned our lesson since then.

“We had to replace them with four to five other carriers to make it work this year, but at least we didn’t have to deal with the strike,” she added.
