I doubt it will happen. Timing the walk out or strike or lock out or whatever for the months leading up to Christmas is bad optics for both the Union and the Corporation. It's Mid-October now. A Strike for the Union Members isn't in their best interests right before Christmas either.

It'll probably be rotating strikes...then a lockout...then back-to-work legislation.

Seen that movie before.

When Vets came back from war, the government didn't know what to do with them, so a lot of them were hired to work at the post office. Many, of course had undiagnosed PTSD and went crackers on the job...

and the term "Going Postal" was born.

My Girl has been with Canada Post for close to two decades. I've sat at the same table in the pub with groups of Posties many times and I've listened to them talk about what they think is a somewhat normal workplace......& it just isn't. They describe an extremely dysfunctional antagonistic environment of Management vs Union Members beyond beyond. With so many Nut-jobs on both sides of that fence, no wonder the term 'going postal' exists.

Why would any government entity run smoother or with less corruption than Indian Affairs. All departments are just as flawed and it is not an accident, that is how the owners demand it be done. Get used to the fact that Canadians can never fix Canada because the problems start outside with people we have no control over. When you can't even talk about 'them' it is 100% assured things will never get better for Canadians.

With enough pot stores there will be delivery services that will do home deliveries the same day the order is placed, Canada Post will be left out in the cold, perhaps that is the plan, can't have them making money for Canada now can we.
