This will be a boost to the Vancouver (& close area, and to a lessor extent Toronto) population. I've heard that the rental accommodation rates where dropping in both Vancouver & Toronto, but this will jump them back up. Eventually some will trickle out of the enclaves to some other regions of Canada & that will be a good thing.
