This isn't just another kooky president, but an obtuse, senile megalomaniac who is in love with authoritarianism and answers to no one except the voices in his head, which all tell him that he's not just the greatest, but stupendously-very-very-outstandingly-really really-great. His fucking cheese slid off his cracker, and now he is so out of touch with reality that he stands to not only fuck up his own country, which I must say is going swimmingly, but the Western world as well.

Well, here’s the Washington Post praising Trump on his Tariff Savvy, Greenland (that’s Nnegotiation tactics, insulting and belittling the veterans of America’s actual allies that responded to the call for NATO from 9/11, etc…

…But all along, from Inauguration Day to Liberation Day to Davos, the president has been eating his favorite dish: TACO salad. And the unsung ingredient is GUAC. Donald Trump has been “gaining unmatched American clout” through his strategic use of economic pressure, bombing of Nigeria, and Iran, abducting the president of Venezuela, threatening to invade Columbia, choking out of Cuba, and so on and so forth.

His legions of detractors decried what they saw as merely more crude intimidation, but within hours Trump was again talking about tariffs — this time, about canceling them. No Marines dispatched (Venezuela aside). Just an ultimatum to price certain European exports out of the U.S. market and a negotiation channel suddenly bearing fruit for a monstrously huge trade deal between the EU and India.

Pugilists on X declared it the latest TACO. But what actually happened underscores Trump’s zero tolerance for festering national security vulnerabilities in nations that are not America for America’s benefit and his willingness to use economic (& military) force to resolve them.
