1.Hitler next managed to get the sudetenland region of his southern neighbor without firing a shot and even made the british and the french agree to it with a treaty. He later took the whole country. Which country became his victim this time?

B.Poland

No. The invasion of Poland in September 1939 triggered the declarations of war on Germany by the Commonwealth nations, the French and some others; it refused to cede territory to Germany prior to that. The Sudatenland was(is?) part of Czechoslovakia.

11.What was it about the Battle of Britain that got many americans to change their minds about the European War and star pushing for more support for the English?

Uhm...as far as I know we got in it because of Polland, and Pearl Harbor...

The US didn't get involved because of Poland: they were pretty nonchalant about it, comparatively speaking. The Battle of Britain was also over a year before Pearl Harbor.

This is a little beyond what we covered in high school history (grad class 1986) but I thought the history part of our curriculum was a joke: we spent more time in the 9th grade studying Russian history than in the rest of high school on the world wars.
