Can I take OSAP without a good credit history?

Hi guys, i could not find any info. in OSAP page regarding people with bad credit history , like collection companys are calling at my home ph. looking for money. I'd like to take OSAP but i do not know ,i can qualify or not because i owe to banks around 8000 from credit cards, Please help me with some info. Thanks

OSAP decides IF you qualify, the bank lends you the actual money. You better check with them!

Did you end up taking osap? Im kind of in the same boat, no collection companies calling anymore tho, they've stopped a couple of years ago...

why do you think OSAP should give a loan when you cannot pay of your existing loans?

Poor credit no matter what the source will follow you your whole life. If you have debts pay them promptly or make arrangements with your creditors.
After this is done `start fresh` and never do anything to cause a problem with your credit.

I do make my payments, I can pay off my debt... I just have bad spending habits...
I suppose I should pay that off first
