Nope, if your phone is capable of using the fido network and is capable of mms, there is no problem.

It should be a GSM 1900 phone.

things work fine now, i called them today and they activated my mms already. I did a try and it worked, i can receive mms now with my phone. But something's weird, i can't send mms to a friend who is in USA. Is that because prepaid mms only works between Fido users? would i be able to send and receive mms to and from other carrier?

Well, if you are on eligible plan, you should got the free rogers roaming to feb 2005. But starting from march 1st, no matter what plan you're on with Fido, you'll still get Rogers roaming for free within Fido footprint. If you pay $5/mth, (on eligible plans only) you'll also get coverage outside of fido footprint.
