good bro... Also you know the Canadian Armed forces is extremely right wing. Promise me one thing... don't change. The Armed forces has a way of changing people on the left, into right wingers. When I was in the forces my Mcpl (when being trained) used to demean us by calling us Pinkos, communists and socialists. and at the time I totally considered myself as a socialist too. So be careful bro. Just don't lose your world view with there's.

Don't worry. My dad is a supported of the NDP, but he doesn't vote, and only my mom votes Cons but she respects my ideology. So i don't think a soldier s going to change my views. I will respect his, if he or she doesn't respect mine, they loose a bit of standing in my eyes.

Welcome back Jersay- glad to see youre not quitting completely. I think it is interesting how addictive this forum is. A few months ago I would have scoffed if anyone said Id be on here typing away, and now I sit at work thinking up responses to other posts!!!!

I have decided that it is an addiction and I too realize I have to limit my time on here. But damn it, that is hard to do! You guys are all so entertaining and it brings a bit of humour into the world.

This thread has wandered way off track. I've split it and moved the relevant (?) part to Wreck Beach ... http://www.canadiancontent.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14354

I'm locking this now. No more good byes, okay? Unless someone is really leaving for a valid reason, or even taking a holiday (we gotta know where folks are cuz we miss em when they're gone!), don't do the dramatic farewell stuff folks.

:) Glad you stayed, Jersay.
