it seems clear to me that Bush is not a genius.

he may, however be rather sly in certain ways. Of course he might be just as stupid as he often appears and all the slyness which sometimes seems apparent might be down to his enormous team or advisers, ****-slingers, spies, and so on.

Perhaps there's no way of knowing exactly what the real bush is like. After all, isn't that the way politics works?

One thing IS clear, though, and that is the Bush does NOT equal the USA.

Every time that I see that liar on TV, I change the channel. So does everyone else I know. No wonder he has the lowest popularity rating in USA history.

I have nothing but praise for the U.S.A., but as for Bush, I think he is just a frustrated daddy's little boy who who continually tries to impress the ol' man. Pitty he shows such a lack of common sense or vision.

So I guess the question is, why would the general public actually VOTE for a president who is a little boy with no common sense or vision????

Most of them didn't, actually, Al Gore won the popular vote in the 2000 election if my memory is correct, and if not for some chicanery in Florida in which the U.S. Supreme Court apparently subverted the state electoral system and gave Florida's electoral college votes to Bush after disenfranchising tens of thousands of voters, he'd probably be the U.S. President today.
