Britain and Ukraine today signed a pact to support each other for the next 100 years.

As the two allies signed a pledge of friendship until 2125 in Ukrainian capital Kiev in which they promised to be strong allies even long after the current war in Ukraine British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said that Britain will provide Ukraine with 150 artillery barrels and Britain's Gravehawk mobile air defence system for their war against Russia.

Starmer also said that Britain would be loaning Ukraine £2bn, repaid out of the interest on frozen Russian assets.

Britain remains second to the USA for military support to Ukraine.
