Bloodcurdling scream is captured on camera as British soldier is stabbed

A soldier has been left in a life-threatening condition after being stabbed near his barracks in Kent.

A 24-year-old man was arrested after the attack in Sally Port Gardens in Gillingham, Kent on 23rd July.

Doorbell camera footage has emerged of the aftermath of the incident as a woman screams loudly in distress after the soldier was stabbed.

The stabbing took place near Brompton Barracks, headquarters of the 1 Royal School of Military Engineering Regiment.

The soldier is undergoing treatment in hospital.

Kent Police believe the suspect may be mentally unwell.
