Actually, if they'd put the effort into getting young people who are already eligible to vote out to teh polling booths they might be further ahead. Young people don't see much difference between the parties though, so they don't vote. In that way they are wiser than the old folks. :lol: You can get them out through if you have a particularl rivieting youth issue, a charismatic leader and a grassroots organization to get them out.

Teen voters, the younger the better, are exactly what the left is looking for. They know no history; they base all of their decisions on emotion; they have no real world experience in terms of what works and what does not. They haven’t the slightest idea of discipline or delayed gratification. They live in a world of fantasy and wish fulfilment; they make demands that cannot be met but they’re willing to settle for an ice-cream cone. They are utterly dependent on others; they’re desperate to conform to the cultural norm, and in general they are the perfect, pliable, ignorant, utterly emotional, reason-free, easily-manipulated vote farm that the progressives need for their power grab.

Most of that sounds like the electorate in general.

Ya, if they are thinking of voting Conservative, they are mature enough, but if they are thinking Liberal or, heaven forbid, NDP, then they are too stupid to vote. Am I close?

No. But perhaps an essay on the issues of the day and anything that is English and short of some sort of consperacy theory rant should pass.

If they can pay a poll tax youngsters should be allowed to vote.
