The Chinese Communists had a saying He who controls the guns controls
the butter.
The internet control is not for catching spies, terrorists or perverts.
Control of the internet is to put it in the hands of the few for the economic
betterment of the few commercially we have seen that for some time.
The Governments like it because what can be controlled can be taxed

I don't know who these advertisers are, or who is making the money but...they have a catchy little tag line that pulls my interest, so I click on it and instead of the article offered, there are a zillion ads which dominate the catchy little tagged page that I was at first interested in exploring. Also the page is hanging with the blue circle of "patience" spinning.

Now, maybe generations younger than me that have miles to go before they sleep are willing to wait...I on the other hand am not. Thus I click off.

Who is making money on these pages that have 59 ads?

"Enquiring" minds want to know...cause I ain't got the time, the patience or the interest to wait. Having done some marketing in business however, someone thinks they work because these ads per page are rapidly increasing exponentially.

I don't get it. S'plain please.

They work. It's statiscal probability. The average ad gets clicked about one in every 100 page views. Advertisers pay for the clicks.

The scheme is to get as many page views as possible so the 1% will line a pocket. I suspect most conspiracy ( or anything to create a outrage ) blogs/content isn't beleived by those who create them. Most of it is a gimmick to play the statistical ad game.

It's funny how anyone in power wants to take away freedoms from the citizens, it doesn't matter what colour they wear.

They are all in favor of protecting the corporate interests.
