Well, I used to live in the west island, long time ago mind you, but it seems like basically the same stuff as i have here.
Bell has the cheapest (reliable) internet, but sometimes a pain when you first install. Videotron has the fastest.
Bell can offer packages for internet / phone / cell phone / TV, but the TV is via satellite.
Videotron offers all the same, but their cell phones suck (for now) however their TV is via cable, so no dish hanging off the side of your roof.

I'd personally suggest videotron, if for only one reasons, their customer service isn't 100% from india (no offense to anyone of course!).

Cell phones seem to be based more on who has the best deal at the time, and how you plan to use it. Some offer fancy phones, and some cheap service, but if your staying on teh island, dont worry about reception, they should all be just as good as the others.

Thanks for that, lots to think about

We really just want the best service we can get so we don't have to keep changing, don't really mind if it's satellite or cable.

TV in Hong kong is dreadful only two cable companies and very little choice and they show allot of really old stuff so having real TV for those cold winter nights will be great.

Internet is very important to us again something that's not great in Hong Kong
as for cell i have an Iphone and my hubby will get one or a blackberry depending on what work provides.

Go with Videotron for your phone, TV and internet. You can get all three for about 100 bucks monthly (plus tax) and this includes picking 30 channels of your choice. Their customer service is great. Bell on the other hand has a bad reputation when it comes to customer service.

Sounds like a good deal. I'm with Shaw and get billed anywhere up to $165 monthly. I've told them they are ripping me off but I don't think they are listening.
