Good one, Hoof.Hear about the Newfie who won a gold medal at the Olympics?

Your team did all of Canada proud, Mo. And there's no disgrace to us in taking silver. Nor in being beaten by such an excellent team.Well the looks on your ladies faces after the game might say different, Tec...............but hey I'll take your word for it. LOL
I erred, Poulin has scored 7 out of the 10 goals the women have scored in Gold Medal games since 2010. The rest is accurate though.Marie Poulin is a hockey machine. She has scored 70% of the goals the Canadian Women have scored in Olympic hockey since 2010. She is also the current record holder for scoring more goals in the Olympics than any other hockey player, male or female, in Winter Olympics history.
A future Hall of Famer no doubt.
TSN did a wonderful retrospective of all the Olympic hockey games played by US and Canadians teams over the years. Players from both countries took part and talked about the competitions and skills on both sides. I thoroughly enjoyed it as it gave a great perspective on the respect each side has for the other. Your team played their hearts out, Tec and I have respect for them all.Your team did all of Canada proud, Mo. And there's no disgrace to us in taking silver. Nor in being beaten by such an excellent team.

This was particularly the case for skier Remi Lindholm, of Finland, who had to place a heat pack on his groin after finishing a 50-kilometre cross-country race at the Beijing Games on Saturday, Reuters reported.
Thatās because his penis froze during the race. He pushed through freezing winds during the course of one hour and 16 minutes.
And itās not the first time this has happened during a cross-country competition. A similar incident had occurred in Ruka, Finland, in 2021.
āYou can guess which body part was a little bit frozen when I finished ā¦ it was one of the worst competitions Iāve been in. It was just about battling through,ā said Lindholm. āWhen the body parts started to warm up after the finish, the pain was unbearable.ā
With fear of frostbite during the race, organizers delayed its start and shortened it by 20 kilometres. While competitors wore thin layers of material on their body, their suits didnāt protect them from the cold.
