This stew was never quite the same. We called it Section 29

Section 29...A dish from the old family farm.

My mom used to make a meat & vegetable pie that we called "Section 29.

It was basically a dark. meaty, stew that was baked in the oven. Intead of a pastry crust, Mom used to cover the stew with something like
baking powder biscuits. I've posted this before but on our farm there were three sections. One section was so hilly and rocky that it was impossible to get
a plow through it and that section was Section 29 that this dish was named after. When Mom was putting the stew on the table one night one of my brothers
said it looked a bit like section 29 and the name stuck.
