It reminds of that disturbing case in Rotherham a few years ago in which the (unsurprisingly) Labour-controlled council removed three foster children from the care of a couple because the couple were Ukip supporters. So, like in a despotic dictatorship, we had a ruling Left-wing party removing children from foster parents because that ruling Left-wing party didn't like those foster parents supporting a particular political party. There was such anger amonsgt the residents of Rotherham that they went on to elect 12 Ukip councillors to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
