A good plan if it was one of the selfie-assholes who it attacked. Unfortunately it likely would have been some innocent bystander nearby.



But they should try each of the selfie assholes for murder of the bear.

Might as well do the hunters that like selfies of the animals they have killed (from a long way off) too.

The correct solution would be a trap and relocation. A cub cannot survive on it's own so it would suffer a long painful death after being released. I do not see why there could not be a bear orphanage in some remote location that is online so the 'visitors', that also donate money have access' to 100's of live trail cams.
