This continues the idea that the conservatives are the new anti-establishment party and the libs are 'the man' that young people will rebel against. It's very unlikely that the quebec conservatives will win, but that might just spur more and more quebecers to vote conservative federally when the time comes.
Regarding a more general look at that i thought this was interesting:
