The NDP leadership, if you can call it that, has completely lost touch with its real base. Ordinary working people. This has actually been going on for decades, but has now come into full bloom. The current leadership is pushing pie in the sky environmentalism, opposed to a good sized piece of what the working people need and do to earn a living. Almost like the ecoterrorists took over a mostly functioning party with a base of very low information voters because the green party has been found to be all about destroying the economy and therefore not relevant to most people.
