I didn't jump, only good tunes make me do that...or the *snapping* of a branch out in the forest...also the time my brother put a full length mirror in my closet...right at the back to...it was halloween night, and when I opened the closet...I noticed a pair of legs at the back of my closet...that made me jump. 8O

If you must know Vanni, it is of grave importance to my organization that we understand why most Canadians have anti-American sentiments towards the American population and cannot or will not differentiate between the government and its people.

If you think I'm wrong, don't think that. We have spent $15,000 USD in obtaining these statistics from a Canadian based firm.

This unfortunately creates a rift in funding. This year we assisted 29 Canadian students and 19 Americans students, all funded by Americans. Quite honestly, I have no idea how long we will be able to maintain this if the Canadians do not participate.

Last year we collected $300,000 from the American public, do you know how much we collected from Canadians? Nothing. Not one red cent. There is apparently no trust, despite the fact we help Canadian students.

So we need to understand and help change minds that Americans are not the way Canadians perceive us to be. We share a common economic future, I stress economic. Now some of you may think differently because its convenient for you, but numbers speak volume.

And all this information we collect helps us in putting a together the very first documentary series on Canadian/US relations. It is anticipated to cover every aspect, from history to economy, to trade disputes. Its estimated it will be 6 hours long. Two directors. One Canadian, one American each covering aspects in their countries.

Stupid eh? What can I tell you. I believe in it.

No. By no means are you an experiment. But you allow people from both sides of the border to interact without flaming each other. And it is one of the few boards that do this. No lab coat for you :wink:
