Number of Australian Creatures that won't outright kill you:
Two.

There. I did my part.

Weird, isn't it? A harmless Aussie creature. Green bees and koalas are friendly. Just don't go near anything else. Even kangaroos can punch you like a boxer.

They can also use their tail to spring forward with a kick. Depending on their claws and how they get you, you could get some pretty nasty gashes, even disembowel..... And since their feet are probably covered in dirt and poop, that's going to be a nasty infection.

Koalas can do some damage too, though not very common.

Don't forget the drop bear.

Drop bears are like koalas but deadly. They drop down onto humans from trees and rip their faces off. A good means of deterrent is spreading Vegemite behind your ears or in your armpit, or placing forks in your hair, or speaking English with an Aussie accent (they don't seem to like foreigners).
