Iraqi athletes with second hand running shoes in Beijing............

The Dream of an athlete, is to be able to compete.....the athlete represents his or her country and often put them selves through the test of endurance in the ultimate guest in making their country proud, especially when the gold medal makes both the country and the athletes share the triumph together at the same time......

No country should ever again send their representatives of sports in such a poor and disadvantage environment, particularly when we see that many athletes had some of the best foot wear @ $500 a pair of runners as appose to the Iraqi 4 athletes, wearing second hand runners which cost $0.50 cents...... Bad philosophy........................I know Iraq is faced with the task of keeping the civil war under control, but Iraq athletes should be given a decent chance in competing........with the appropriate equipment.....The Iraqi Government obviously doesn't have it together yet.

No kidding, the Americans had an obligation to insure that if their intention was sencier in Iraq they would help the 4 Iraqis with proper equipment to help them live the dream of competition.....

But Bush cares for the Iraqi people so much.....................................
