Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Niall Horan will play at One Love Manchester

Tickets for the concert to benefit the victims of the Manchester attack have gone on sale.

One Love Manchester takes place on Sunday, with proceeds going to the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund.

Last Monday, 22 people died and 116 were injured in a suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.

Grande will play at the benefit gig alongside Take That, Niall Horan, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.

Those who attended Grande's original concert have been offered free tickets, with other tickets on sale to the general public priced at £40.

Some concertgoers who bought their tickets for Grande's original show from secondary ticketing sites were initially told they would not be eligible for free tickets to One Love Manchester.

The Black Eyed Peas were added to the One Love Manchester line-up on Wednesday

But those websites are now making efforts to ensure that tickets are offered to the people who actually went to the original gig, rather than those who first purchased the tickets.

Ticketmaster, which owns Getmein, told the BBC: "We are doing everything possible to extend the offer to all fans we can verify were at the show."

Fans who were at last Monday's concert had until 22:00 BST on Wednesday to register for free tickets for the benefit gig.

The application included a section where fans could say they bought their original tickets from a secondary site.

The concert, held at the Emirates Old Trafford stadium, will be broadcast on BBC One and is expected to raise more than £2m for the Red Cross fund.

The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Usher and Pharrell are also going to be performing.

Fans have been asked not to bring bags to avoid delays going through security.

ITV has made schedule changes to avoid the final of Britain's Got Talent clashing with the benefit gig.

So as we have seen in the past, red cross could put that money anywhere:

"Red Cross Misstates How Donors' Dollars Are Spent

"Ninety-one cents of every dollar that's donated goes to our services," McGovern said in a speech at Johns Hopkins University last year. "That's world class obviously."...

...The problem is it's not true."

Manchester City Council has set up a charity to distribute the funds raised in the wake of the Manchester bombing, following advice from the Charity Commission.

The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund has raised £6m so far to help those affected by the tragedy including £1.89m from the British Red Cross and Manchester Evening News JustGiving appeal. According to Manchester Evening News, trustees of the charity include members and officers of Manchester City Council including former chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police Ian Hopkins, and Manchester Evening News editor in chief Rob Irvine, as well as independent experts.

This weekend will see Ariana Grande hold a benefit concert at Emirates Old Trafford for those affected. Grande will perform at One Love Manchester along with Katy Perry, Coldplay, Usher, Pharrell, and Take That amongst others. Tickets go on sale on Thursday 1st June at 10am.

The most effective charity ... i.e. the one where most of your money goes where it is supposed to ... that I know of is the Mennonite Relief.

Is Take That even relevant... or are they on the list because they just got back together to tour and are opportunistic enough to think this is a great way to promote themselves. I know they still have appeal in the UK... I just can't for the life of me figure out why.

What better way to get back in the game than picking an event where you can make a credible argument that it's not just a crass attempt to get back in the game?
