Yes the old man is in fact a young man (or woman) in the disguise of an old man (or woman) .
The soul (or spirit) does not become old or elderly; it is only the material body which undergoes the ageing.
Therefore, if a man acquires cataract in his eye, his sight will be obscured to some extent; but it is the eye of the body which has the cataract, while the soul sight is intact ..
this is just that when one wears dark glasses, he cannot see well; but on removing the dark opaque glasses, he can see clearly.
So the soul is powerful, active and intact, while it is the body that becomes elderly, and its powers decline all together by time.
