The Index is the first report in Canada to measure and rank the state of free speech at Canadian public universities. Assigning letter grades based on the degree to which universities and student unions uphold students’ free speech rights, only three out of 35 universities studied earned ‘A’s while 28 earned ‘F’s.
This is why I posted a full search page....It's not an isolated incident...And people keep saying that there is no attempt at P C indoctrination in Universities.............This is a particularly good link.
Press Release: Students at Queen’s University build free speech wall | Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms
This is particularly sad and shocking.

That was in January......I think when it comes from the University Admin we're seeing the "P.C. indoctrination" as you call it. In all honesty, what I see it more as is I guess a sort of cowardice that evolves from not wanting to have to deal with things. They don't want the group that has a racist message because that's unsavoury to most people and they don't want to have to deal with the fallout, regardless of whether said group is peacefully organizing or not. I see it as less about pushing an agenda, although that may not always be the case, and more just about keeping the "peace" at all costs. They'd rather deal with a much smaller disenfranchised fringe group then defend the rights of same group against a larger student body. It's lazy and it's cowardly, at least that's how I view it.
The Student Union issue though is far more disturbing. The report that the Freedom Wall at Carleton was completely defaced by a single 7th year student (which is frightening no matter how you look at it, him being in his seventh year) was unbelievable. And I do believe that it was the Student Unions on campuses that were the worst offenders in the report.
But regardless, you're right, it's not an isolated incident.

You're being generous.
Seriously? The "possible presence of protestors" was the reason? The administration, citing security concerns, told the UFV Life Link club that the event was cancelled due to the possible presence of protestors.
