that list for the most part has been tailored to fit the United States, even though I agree that it would measure up to the begginings of one that wasn't rigged.

That list was compiled by studying the policies and practices of several fascist governments including Italy and Germany...

That the US fits the description should send alarm bells across the world...

Yes. But they took each of the points and skewed them to the United States, for example the religious one, taking a religion and using it.

Hitler created a pseudo-religion of the state while he abolished Christianity. He used religion, though he didn't take a current one. Meanwhile the republicans did take a religion an used it.

Hitler, like some of today's politicians and preachers, politicized "family values." He liked corporal punishment in home and in school. Jesus prayers became mandatory in all schools under his administration. While abortion was illegal in pre-Hitler Germany he took it to new depths of enforcement, requiring all doctors to report to the government the circumstances of all miscarriages. He openly despised homosexuality and criminalized it. If past is prologue, we know what to expect if liberty becomes license.
