RE: Are teenagers addicte

i think it has become a forced neccessity for many of us, forced by our own accord, we think we need it when it really isnt required. Before i entered the workforce I didn't know how to operate a phone, yet i lived a more relaxed lifestyle. now i carry around 2 because of my work and constantly use both to its maximum.

I don't think the cell phones are helping teenagers much when it comes to the written language. There are teachers complaining that their shorthand use of words and grammer used in text messaging is now appearing on actual papers.

I wonder what newspaper articles will look like in 25 years?

so funny yet so true , me my self being of a "young" age I use the same ways i write in my text to write to people but we have to realize people use the same shorthand in online messengers and e mails so the cells not totally to blame

True, cells aren't totally to blame, but we use these tools at younger ages more often than we would take to study or lern rite proprlee. As time goes by and the child grows, what has this person practiced the most?
