Sassie m'dear..... as you may have noticed, I have a penchant for the fluffy threads.... can't get myself into too much trouble there, ok well I could
but they're only as the fun as the people who play in 'em, so I'm looking forward to much more fluff-induced fun n'frolic with ya!

Congrats Zan, I love chatting with you in my fluff post. You will still talk to "We the little people" won't ya? Sniff, sniff nary a word from Cosmo these days.
 Been busy trying to get myself convinced to pack boxes, Sassy. Moving is a b*tch. :( I'm also trying to get the mod and user manuals finished up before the move. In other words, I've been trying desparately to stop procrastinating and get some work done. So far, so good. ;)

I'll be back to my regular full of ... comments ... self as soon as I get the work finished! It will be my treat for completing what I must do. In the meantime, you all have to keep the female post count up in the face of all this testosterone!

WC ... those 50 minute hours are worth their weight in RAM!! Zan, I've had a few of them myself and WC always has wise words, good ideas and a few laughs to prop up failing mental health. She babysat me through some crazy times and I came out on this side of it pretty much intact. Gotta be careful tho ... she'll figure out how valuable she is and start charging us!

Yeah congrats.

At least I don't have to do it. All that power, and banning people. There would be no one left if I was in control as a mod. Not even the admin.

 I'm crushed, Jersay! And here I haven't even whopped you with the wizzie stick once!

As usual you are multi-tasking and look forward to the days when you can come back and wizzie anyone just for the heck of it to exercise your power!!

Meanwhile I guess all of us are gonna see how far we can get with Kreskin and Zan hehehe...

At least Juan can start mowing his lawn now that he'll have time away from herding all of the grumpies........I heard Zoofer was gonna taking care of his yard too ... between golf games....must be spring!!!

Picture is timed out or removed - but until the topic was introduced about black vs. white in boxing I didn't even register what could be deemed as underlying "meaning". Boxing is boxing, as are all other sports. I've seen Mexican fighters rearrange heads in the same manner against whites and blacks both.

Guess living in the U.S. has educated me on race - the skin color
of people just doesn't seem to matter much.... the violence
is what I saw. The human skull can only take so many blows like that one.

Interesting how we react to scenes we don't often experience in real life.

W/C - funny, now that ya mention it, I had the same thoughts about that pic. Amazing how many different interpretations we can give to something eh?

Zan - good Morning Mme Mod!!

Yup - perception and life experience play a big role in our opinions.

I had to read Finder's inferences about "flame war" a couple of times and the picture had timed out so I was using my memory ....

Then I "got" what Finder was talking about.... Race never got into my head over that one.

I know I am a coward but I hate violent sports of any kind...especially when they involve animals.

Looking at the hit now that the picture is up again, it makes me sick to see what damage is potentially being done to the brain.

They blame Ali's near imbecile state on Parkinson's but I think it is too many hits to the brain and in the interests of "boxing" they keep it quiet.

As much as I try to figure out things, they get more complicated.

WC, if you ever get a chance to watch the Ali vs Frazier "Thrilla in Manilla" fight you'll wonder how either of those guys are still alive.

I agree. All violence rocks me to the core. I may be just a big wuss, but I get a nauseous feeling over it.
The fact that these things exist tell me that there's people it appeals to - a great many of them apparently. I have no choice but to respect their right to like whatever they want, but I cannot wrap my head around why they like it, so I'm left with accepting that some things are not for me to understand. Rather unsatisfying conclusion to come to really, but it's the best I can do.

Marciano never gave up. After some of his fights he looked worse than Rocky Balboa but he always did what it took to win. He beat all comers but he couldn't fly his airplane through a hill.
