You rarely know all the details of a story and newspapers frequently get things wrong, but this doesn't sound ok. I'm all for having the option to terminate if a person feels that's their best choice and wants to die with dignity, but we shouldn't be bringing it up or encouraging it. ESPECIALLY to someone suffering from mental health issues in the first place.

Well, if he is suicidal it is certainly better than him swallowing a gun, and having to deal with a new round of PTST in the first responders that have to clean up the mess.
