As we head toward the finish line a picture is slowly starting to emerge here. There is a poll
for the National Post, a paper not friendly to the NDP by any stretch, the result is becoming
part of the everyday fair here.
In Atlantic Canada, the Conservatives are falling, and fast, in the past week they have fallen
from 35% to 26%. In Quebec the NDP now has 40% of the vote, and the toll across the nation
is being felt for sure, with the new numbers.
Conservatives 34%
NDP 31%
Liberals 22%
The National Post is saying the NDP could well take 108 seats across the nation and the
Conservatives could well drop to 137.
This would force the two parties to work together with some difficult compromises for sure.
What I can't get over is the young people not only supporting the NDP they are getting involved.
They are calling friends in other parts of the Province and across town, before now some of the
twenty somethings could care less, now they just want a big change.
