A Male Feminist Roars

reminds me of one of our little feminists in here.

anyway, h/t to sda

Prostate cancer is a hallmark of privilege. Deal with it.

Prostate cancer is a first-world problem.

Alex Manley, writing in the campus newspaper of Concordia University, Montreal:

Let me be clear — I don’t want anyone to get cancer. I don’t think a man getting cancer is less tragic than a woman getting cancer.

However,

The [‘Movember’ prostate cancer awareness campaign] is just a really well-disguised tantrum that guys are content to throw to make it seem like prostate cancer research is as important as research towards curing women’s cancers.

And,

Prostate cancer is a hallmark of privilege. Deal with it.

Because he cares, you see.

Male feminists are just virgins or losers trying to play up to women so they can get laid. All about sex, always is.

He's probably just upset he can't grow a mustache.
No, I'M upset I can't grow a mustache. He's just a little dick. He'd fit in perfectly here. Same reductionist logic the usual suspects here pull out on a daily basis. Essentially, "It's immoral to spend any time on anything except (my opinion of) the single worst problem."

The guy is simply suggesting that people actually deal with the problem by getting exercise and eating a better diet, rather than growing temporary beards.

Yep, and David Suzuki never SAID that the oil industry is slavery.

I hope you're just playing, because I never thought you were stupid.

Did you read his apology? Sounds like he gets it better'n you do.

Buddy went one step further in assessing a judgement on the issue relative to the pecking order (of importance) regarding research towards various cancers as they apply to men and women.

It's akin to someone saying "No disrespect intended..." and them going onto to disrespecting that person... It's still disrespect

Coulda been worse. He coulda said "white men deserve cancer."

Give him a little credit for not going that far.

Well, for some it's all about money. Everything is about money. No other factors really matter.

I think I read that right, so, thank you kindly.

Tell you what. I'm getting into my year-end charitable donation thing. You got a favorite? I'll throw 'em some.
I donate year round. At year end I try to minimize my caloric intake and get some exercise.

So do I. I just crank it up at the end of the year.

So, do you want to get your favorite charity an extra donation, or do you want to crow about your moral supremacy? I made you an offer. The fact that you're being a dick just now doesn't rescind it. Name a charity. I'll throw 'em a thousand bucks (thirteen hundred or so Canadian). No obligation on your part.

so are some of you kids worked up about the article, the article being posted or that the OP beta fag knuckled under and had to apologize a week after his hip and edgy decree?

I can't speak for anybody else but I'll leave "getting worked up" to you social conservatives. You really need to relax a bit
