Analysis: Homeless veterans a concern across Canada

This is the main reason i didn't join the Canadian Forces......

Becoming "Private Used and abused just to be thrown in the trash, like garbage" did not appeal to me....

What percentage of the Canadian population are vets?

I don't know whether to be alarmed by the 16% figure, until I find out if they are over-represented in the homeless population or not. And I can't seem to find any definitive numbers.
