An Ontario highway sign got an epic Game of Thrones makeover

There’s no doubt that Canadians love their Game of Thrones.

The show recently smashed records in Canada, and fans clearly take their admiration for its characters seriously.

Overnight, an Ontario highway sign got a little GoT makeover — and it is pretty awesome.

An eastbound lane on the 401 near Milton, west of Toronto, has a James Snow Parkway exit sign, which has now been changed to “Jon Snow Parkway.”

The makeover included the House Stark symbol and the famous slogan, “Winter is coming.”

While it’s most likely traffic coming on this route, there’s no doubt this is the best highway sign in Canada right now.

Fans hungry for all things Game of Thrones are about to get their fill thanks to a new Westeros inspired bakery.
Ben Hawkey who fittingly plays the character Hot Pie on Game of Thrones has taken his on-screen culinary skills to the real world.
"You know Nothing, Jon Dough" is the clever name of the pop-up bakery that's serving up the show's famous 'Direwolf loaves' for a limited time.
According to Mashable, Hawkey released a statement explaining how the idea for the shop came about.
“Hot Pie’s Direwolf loaves are a favourite for 'Game of Thrones' fans, and people are always asking me for the secret of my recipe.”

Back in season one of GoT, Hot Pie first made a Direwolf-shaped loaf for Arya Stark played by actress Maisie Williams.
The pair were friends and the loaf was a parting gift to Stark after Hot Pie became a baker at an inn and Stark left for the Wall.
Unfortunately, these freshly-baked collector's items aren't available here on the western side of the world. The loaves were only available for 1 British pound through Deliveroo, a food-delivery service based in the U.K.
