I am sorry but it cannot be measured. There exists no test for it. Those in current use are overmatched by my intelligence. They are currently working on ways to test those whose intelligence is so great it cannot be accurately measured. Fortunately less dead people than there could have been. Not none, though. Lots of injuries too. And lots of damage to houses and schools. The attacks having been less successful (murderous) than the attackers would have liked doesn't make it any less abominable. If you shoot at me and miss, it's still attempted murder. What is Israel supposed to do, sit around and wait for the Palestinians to improve their aim. Plus they're getting better rockets from Iran already.

I don't feel sorry for HAMAS or the Palestinians this time around. They keep on pestering Israel with attacks and killings time and time and time again. It's like watching a child tease a caged bear. Hypocrisy isn't the exclusive domain of either the U.S. or Israel or the Palestinians that have lived in occupied territory for generations. An occupation sanctioned by the U.N. regardless of what the people of Palestine wished.

If Israel was to disappear tomorrow there would be more violence in the middle East and not less. The Arabs are a basketcase and the Palestinians a basketcase among basketcases.

It's because anyone with even a rudimentary grasp of justice should be able to empathize with the Palestinians.

How might you feel if the US and the UN figured it was only "fair" that aboriginal peoples in Canada were fully entitled to occupy land that was their's "historically" or "traditionally"....

Better yet, how about if China decided that BC or Ontario should be appropriately handed over to them because of atrocities practiced by Canada against the Chinese who suffered incredibly to build Canada's railways?

Israeli kids go to school, laugh at TV, take swimming lessons, tap on their computers and sleep safely in their beds at night. They go to movies, listen to their CDs in clean houses, get excellentt health care when ill...and their children will do the same.

Palestinian kids live in filth and a structure of violence. Gangs rule the streets. Education is marginal and prospects minimal.

The Israelis don't have a problem. they have a decent life and, most importantly, ensure their kids have a decent life. The Palestinians, in contrast, are pathetic perpetuators of hate and violence on to their children. They have nothing to offer but more of the same by example.
