Bill Clinton decided, once again, to prove that he feels the pain of ordinary Americans, is throwing a wedding celebration for his daughter, which will make the wedding of Princess Diana a trailer park affair, in comparison.

Note, however, the abscence of one particular, would-be and should-have-been guest who was not invited, along with his wife: President and First Lady, Barrack and Michelle Obama.

Take this any way you like, but in my opinion the blatant lack of invitation is the first salvo of Hillary's Presidential ambition.

Anyone care to place wagers on Hillary challenging Obama in 2012?

EagleSmack, since not a single penny of mine is spent on the wedding, I really don't care. I even applaud the Clintons' approval of the capitalistic system, in which even the lowest can aspire for and achieve the highest position.

It is only the HYPOCRISY I question.

TenPenny opined:

"I thought you were questioning not inviting Obama."

TenPenny, don't you see the snubbing of the Obamas' as an ultimate act of hypocrisy?

YJ, Clintons are spending their own money for the wedding. It is totally up to them how much to spend on the wedding and who to invite. It is none of your business (or mine for that matter).

As to whether they invited Obama or not, again, how is it any of your business? Are others entitled to comment on who you invite for your parties?

This is free enterprise at work. Clintons have made money by the barrelfuls since they left White House. If they want to spend some of it on their daughter’s wedding (their only child), more power to them.

Why on earth would you want to invite someone who will trump the bride for attention, and increase the headache and planning going into an already ridiculously overpriced affair?

That is a good point. Can you imagine the security that would be necessary if they invited Obama? Of course taxpayers would be footing the bill, Republicans would have screamed bloody murder.

Former Presidents get security details for life as well, but it's not nearly the same level as the sitting pres.
