Well, there are times I despair for humanity but most of the time I either don't give a sh!t or I see hope. Just when I think humanity isn't worth the sweat off my balls, someone does something to restore my faith. But then, I go out of my way sometimes to find that someone.

Obama is the physical incarnation of the American left. I hold the American left primarily responsible for the destruction of the American working and middle classes, and for my estrangement from the country I once loved. Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned.

Hope is a two edged sword. It can be a source of strength as it now is in China. Or it can take the form of blind faith as it now is among most Americans of both left and right. Most Americans have faith just as the passengers of the Titanic until it slipped beneath the surface of the North Atlantic. I take comfort in the recognition of consciousness, even though I lack the detachment to reach the level I perceive.
