Anyway....there are several options for head coverings that
could be worn in a court setting, preserving modesty, and
yet allowing due process to run its course without issue.

In some places "Reasonable accommodation" has already gone a little too far.

What if it's a Muslim Biker Chick who wants to wear a full-face
helmet in court....as part of her culture?



....but the culture she's claiming is the Biker one, not the Muslim
one as justification...

It isn't religious, and your analogy is exactly the sort of problem that arises from accommodating some cultural affectations.
