The founder of the youth-focused pro-Brexit campaign group BeLeave has won his appeal against a £20,000 fine imposed by the elections regulator. Darren Grimes was punished by the Electoral Commission last year, after being accused of breaching spending rules during the 2016 EU referendum.

Now, certain Remainers who spent a lot of time criticising him need to admit defeat and say sorry.

Really? You seriously thought that an apology nullifies a defamation claim?

It could do. If Campbell and Jones and all those other vile Remainer turds involved in this case apologise profusely to Mr Grimes then he may decide against court action.

When you've been naughty, apologising often goes a long way to reducing the punishment.
