I came across a little piece in yesterdays financial post by Lawrence Solomon that brings to light the immense financial gains that Al Gore stands to make from Global Warming. The societal and investment plan is one in the same for Gore. Make fossil fuels uncompetitive and beguiled through massive PR, advertising campaigns, and cap-and trade policies while promoting the subsidization of renewable technologies.

Al Gore is a very spooky guy. Preaching to increase his personal wealth,
and debating nobody on his Hollywood version of reality. Just spooky....

Anybody the oil companies don't like, can't be all bad.

What is wrong with the oil companies, oil is a commodity we all need and use. Just like banks, may not like them, but they are needed.

Al Gore is one sick puppy. Not only does he plan to make hundreds of millions of dollars from the utter fraud of AGW, but he'll do it on the backs of poorest of people on earth.

He and his scumbag crew will cut industrialization, advanced agriculture, technology.. but his main aim, like all radical environmentalists, is to cut population by 80% to leave a pristine mother earth, unmolested by the pestilence of mankind. All the better if they are those prolific procreators of the third world.

He has, as an individual, one of the world's largest carbon footprints. He thinks he's going to live forever. I honestly think he is mentally deranged, delusional.. he's certainly morally dissolute.

Oil is still a profitable item, to many it still is a very valuable and viable commodity.

 Yep, it lubes things and makes a few people rich. On the other hand, it screws up the air, makes people sick, it stinks, it screws up freshwater, it screws up good land, etc. What's not to love about it?

No he's probably an eco-holic. I find it interesting that he was worth 2 million when he left public office, 9 short years later he's worth well over 100 million.
