"its not going to do anything but make people angry to use the tactics of the Elite corporate mil-ind. complex of religious righty wanker-brainwashed nimble-thingys like name calling."

I'm not 100% sure, but I pulled up a chair with a box of capitalist "religious righty wanker-brainwashed" popcorn and I'm waiting for a plot to develop in this movie....

RE: Afghan mission extens

So this is something Harper did?

Apparently Jay. Even though Harper has never altered a single Canadian Forces mission since he's been living at 24 Sussex Drive. It must be info you and I aren't privy to. In reality though, the Conservatives, as I just said above, haven't touched an Operation, U.N. or otherwise. The scale backs in troops deployments were at the hands of the Liberals, who realized the Army, Navy, and Air Force were exhausted. This scale back included; The Former Yugoslavia (a NATO mission I might add), Eritrea and Ethiopia, The Congo, East Timor, and the Golan Heights. The only thing military that has happened whilst Harper has been in power are:

1. The deployment of Operation Archer to Afghanistan - a mission designed and approved by the Liberals. The Harper Government was just following through on our committments

2. The withdraw from The Golan Heights - The Liberals put an end to our Operation in the Golan, the last roto just recently left. While this was during Harpers term, he never ordered the troops out of the Golan, the Liberals did.

3. The deployment of 2 Canadian Warships to NATO Standing Force Atlantic - This operation was approved by the Liberals.

So there it is, in black and white, what has happened with overseas military deployments whilst Harper has been in power. He's done nothing. So Karlin, i'll ask you again for the 3rd time now, why is this Harpers War? How does any of our current military operations relate to him when he's never had a hand in any of it? Our Operation to Afghanistan was cast at the hands of the Liberals, not the Conservatives. Are you getting this? If so, answer my question.
